RC Kelly Law Attends National School Transportation Association Capitol Hill Day

3/27/2025| | Return|

RC Kelly Law is in Washington D.C. this week with the National School Transportation Association, meeting with lawmakers about school bus industry issues.

Rich Kelly met with Rep. John Carter and NSTA Executive Director Curt Macysyn to talk about the “Driving Forward Act” that Rep. Carter introduced this week seeking to make the current FMCSA “Under the Hood” CDL testing exemption an ongoing option for all school bus operators.

School bus operators who can use the “School Bus Only” CDL option report dramatic improvement in school bus driver retention after investing the time, effort, and cost of training new school bus driver candidates. Is the existing School Bus Only CDL a good option for you? Contact RC Kelly Law www.rckelly.com to find out more.
