Richard C. Kelly, Esq has been invited to speak at The Electrical Association of Philadelphia* on April 11, 2012.  The two hour seminar will focus on how to draft sound agreements with customers, subcontractors and general contractors.   As a residential or commercial electrical contractor have you been burned by not using a sound contractual agreement for past jobs?  Experienced difficulties being paid on the initial agreement or change orders made along the way? Suffered through delays or problems with other contractors on the same job that disrupted your work and payment?

This two hour workshop, “Understanding Contracts” will help you understand contracts and will help you identify terms to avoid.  Student materials include sample contract terms, insurance forms, case law and statutes relating to everyday business contracts.  This popular workshop includes real life examples and the opportunity for questions and answers to your business contract questions.

The Seminar will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM at The Electrical Association of Philadelphia; 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 408; Plymouth Meeting , Pennsylvania 19462-1641 – Pre registration is required and can be completed by calling Executive Director, Dwight Price, at 610-825-1600 or by email  at electric@eap.org  Registration deadline April 1, 2012
